EXCHANGE RATES AND
HOW THEY APPLY TO YOUR ORDER
All
invoices and receipts are calculated in $AUD using the Reserve Bank of
Australia's published exchange rates for a given date.
The RBA's
exchange rates may be viewed at
http://www.rba.gov.au/Statistics/exchange_rates.html
Minor
variations may occur in the final price due fees or differing exchange rates
across the international banking system during processing.
PAYMENT
fastelectrics.com accepts Credit Cards, including Visa, Mastercard and
Bankcard and Paypal. No order is sent till payment is approved.
Money
Orders, and certified and bank cheques are accepted. However, bank or
institutional fees arising from the processing of payment by this method
will be charged to the purchaser.
PERSONAL CHEQUE
POLICY
No order
will be sent until a cheque relating to it has cleared.
If the
cheque is returned the purchaser must pay by a money order or bank cheque.
In both cases a fee of 10% of the value of the goods, packaging and shipping
may be charged.
A money
order, certified cheque, or bank cheque will result in earlier shipping.
REFUNDS
If a
product is not shipped on the first working day following an order being
made a discount of 10% will be given on the cost of the goods to be shipped.
Refunds
will be given when:
- the
customer provided a correct address and requested insured shipping;
- an
insurance payment is received, if the customer requested insurance and
provided an incorrect address.
Refunds:
- are not
given on damaged goods unless the customer requests and has paid for
insured shipping;
- Prior
to the clearance of payment for the goods in question;
- On
prepayments for assembly projects which are cancelled by the customer;
- On used
items;
Any fees
or charges incurred by fastelectrics.com in making a refund will be deducted
from the refund.
RETURNING
MERCHANDISE
Stock line
merchandise returned, within 30 days of its purchase from fastelectrics.com,
in new and unused condition with its original wrapping, with documentation
proving purchase will be refunded. Opening
kits, running motors, gluing, marking, or anyway changing the original
condition of the item are some examples of what constitutes used
merchandise.
Items
which are returned and refunded are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
We will
not accept returns via COD. We reserve the right to reject any return for
any reason.
SHIPPING
Within
Australia shipping is by courier.
Our
standard international shipping is by uninsured economy air. That is airmail
on the international leg and by surface in the country of destination.
Insurance
may be requested during the ordering process. We recommend you insure your
investment.
DAMAGED RETURNS
Damaged
merchandise includes items that have been damaged in shipping.
If an
insured shipment is delivered and damage is visible refuse delivery of
it
If an
insured shipment arrives and you find the contents damaged save all
packaging material and paperwork, do not throw anything away. Contact
andrew@fastelectrics.com immediately.
Take the
package to the organisation that delivered it and ask for it to be returned.
If you
attempt to return the merchandise yourself, you will jeopardise your chances
of making a claim, and you may not receive credit for the return.
WARRANTY REPAIRS
Used,
defective merchandise must be returned within 30 days of purchase for
assessment for conformity with warranty conditions before a decision is made
on repair or replacement.

WARRANTEE
Products
are warranted per the manufacturers warrantee, against materials or
manufacturing defects. Hacker, Master, Jeti Mega and Lightning products
carry a 6 month warrantee.
Assessment
of the application of this warrantee lies with fastelectrics.com alone.
We accept
no responsibility for impact damage and/or loss of kits, motors,
accessories, etc. incurred during operation of a radio-controlled model.
Products
used in competition are not warranted.
In most
cases it is very difficult or impossible to determine whether crash damage
was actually due to radio equipment failure or to operator error.
Also, we
accept no responsibility for any purchased components that are incorporated
into radio systems or problems caused by incompatibility between radio
components, parts, and repairs.
Motors are
not warranted against damage caused by running without cooling, heat,
voltage in excess of rated levels or excess loading – ie amp draw in excess
of specification. Bearings, armatures, brushes and springs are not warranted
against damage.
Motors are
not warranted against reasonable wear and tear.
Electronics are not warranted against water damage or voltage reversal,
shorting or exceeding the voltage or current specifications. Electronic
products are not warranted against reasonable wear and tear.
Hardware
is warranted for life against material and manufacturing defects, with the
exception of bushings, flex cables, stub shafts, drive dogs and prop nuts
Hardware is not warranted against reasonable wear and tear.
Hulls are
not warranted against damage caused by impacts or while racing.
PRICE AND/OR
DESCRIPTION CHANGES
All
prices, pictures and descriptions on this site and any catalog or flyers are
subject to change without notice.
We’re
strictly a mail order facility and regret that we are not able to handle
walk in orders, returns, etc.
DISPUTES
Any
dispute over these procedures will be settled by reference to consumer
protection legislation applying in NSW Australia regardless of the
disadvantage to fastelectrics.com. |
